The room had a private bathroom with free toiletries. It was great to have everything I needed without having to go to a shared bathroom. I loved that the room had a hairdryer and shower. It made getting ready in the morning a breeze. The twin room provided a wardrobe, perfect for keeping my clothes organized during my stay. Having an electric kettle in the room was a huge plus. I could make tea or coffee whenever I wanted. The room had heating, which was really nice during the colder evenings. The flat-screen TV in the twin room was a nice touch. It made relaxing in the room even more enjoyable.
Personally, I didn't like the fact that the twin room didn't have a private bathroom. But I understand that some people may not mind sharing.

We stayed at The Elsted Inn for 3 nights and had a meal on the first night. The newly reopened hotel is a work in progress, but the owner, Paul, was very welcoming and helpful. He provided us with packed breakfasts and is working hard to improve the facilities. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The hot chocolate and biscuits in the room were a nice touch, and the breakfast was excellent. The location was convenient for exploring the South Coast and attending Goodwood events. Will definitely return in the future.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and tidy, with complimentary drinks and biscuits provided. The pub patio and garden were a great size for relaxing outdoors.
Some aspects were in need of improvement, such as the steep stairs to the upper rooms and the worn-out mattress. , there were some small details missing, like hand soap and coffee in the room.

I had a wonderful stay at The Elsted Inn. After a long day at Goodwood Races, it was easy to find the inn with the help of satnav. The beds were a little soft for my taste, but surprisingly, I slept really well and it didn't disturb me at all. The pub grub for dinner was excellent - tasty, well presented, and plenty. The breakfast the next morning was just as good. The host and staff were lovely and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, food, and friendly service.

The location is perfect for those exploring the South Downs Way, with exceptionally helpful staff to assist with bike storage and early breakfast requests. The room was decent size, clean, and tidy, with complimentary drinks and biscuits. The hot chocolate and biscuits in the room were a nice touch, and the breakfast was excellent.
There were some small issues, such as the lack of soap in the bathroom, an uncomfortable mattress, and tinny TV sound.

Loved the garden and the bar! WiFi worked surprisingly well, I managed to browse on Instagram for hours. , the location in Elsted was so convenient, I mean, who doesn't love being in the middle of nowhere?
Beds were so uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on a pile of feathers, definitely not fit for royalty like me.

We stayed after a cold and wet day at Goodwood Races. The staff were good and the room was clean and tidy, with complementary drinks and biscuits. The dinner was excellent and the pub had a decent-sized patio and garden. The beds were a bit soft, but we slept really well. Would recommend and stay again if in the area.
